School and the Internet Advantage

Once again a summer has passed and we see the children busing off to school. Generally they are all headed into larger communities from there rural communities or from the farms. Since they were last in school the Internet world is getting bigger and more powerful. More knowledge is available. You Tube is like TV. You will hear kids talk about something they saw on You Tube as often as what they watched on TV. Facebook is becoming a massive powerhouse of people with opinions and ideas and networking. The world continues to get smaller but information just grows. The only picture seems to be a digital picture. It just goes on and on. Most people will now say they have made an online purchase or have used the internet to help them buy a product or service.
The fact is if you are not on line you are short changing your childs access to information and there ability to have at least a level playing field at school. I wish I could tell you it will go away but the fact is the situation is critical in todays world and within the education system.
My own son called to ask me where he would go to get a stamp because he had to send a letter to some who did not have email. It is not funny it is a fact. The old institutions we grew up with either change or go away.
So call us let us help you to get the system and connection with the service you desire to grow your child’s future at school and beyond. A man said to me once, ”if you think education is expensive try ignorance.”
If you are unsure about the internet just ask your children, they will tell you if they have not already. We can help you get started with your system very easily and at a fair cost.

Here is plan: turn it into a Gazebo
Dotted across the American landscape are a number of old satellite dishes that are nothing short of massive and not in use. They sit like sentinels as a momento to past technology. What to do with them is a problem that faces many home owners. Well here is a solution.

Turn it into a Gazebo and here is the link with pictures and directions. http://www.ranum.com/fun/projects/gazebo/index.html
I love how ingenious people can be and this is brilliant. If you build one send me a picture I would love to see it.
Now you see you can get rid of the old dish and get yourself on line with a Satellite Internet Connection from Satellite Internet Direct. I am sure the family would love a new Gazebo.

Blogging Using Satellite Internet
I enjoy reading Blogs. (this is an online diary that you can share your thoughts to the world and it is easy to use and no cost to set up and maintain) I like to hear what people have to say about what is going on in their lives. I enjoy reading about how business is using blogs to promote themselves and how they allow people and customers to interact with them through this media. It is very informative and real.
But I believe and I have a bias toward people who write Satellite Internet Blogs because they have some of the most interesting experences to share. They also have the best photos of the country you will ever see.
Why is this? Many people who use satellite Internet are in remote areas or on farms or in isolated communities or in some cases they are just isolated. They live in areas were life is a bit slower and they are more in tune with the immediate world around them. For some there only connection to the outside world is there Satellite Internet. So they tend to want to connect and they do that by writing blogs about their experiences in these places.
They also have interesting experiences to share about the slower life. The thoughts are generally clear and in most cases they do not lack opinions about our world.
If you like to write and read Blogs are great fun, you can set them up using any number of free blogging services such as Wordpress or Blogger.
The point is if you are isolated we can get you on line you can enjoy this kind of service and have a real forum to share your thoughts and indeed your opinions to the world. Maybe you could win an award for your blog writing.
We can help get you started, we have the best Hughesnet offer, and the best service to boot. I thought you would like to know.

My goodness I am not sure I should have gotten my father a high speed Satellite Internet Connection. It is quite a story.
My Dad was not a computer person and only had a dial up connection and it was hard to convince him to get connected because he did not like to tie up the phone line. So finally he got a system from us and he really liked the deal.
I really like how well he entertains himself on line now with his constant research and looking for new deals. He is getting more active on the American Association of Retired People AARP. I like that he sends me notes during the day so I know he is okay and the fact that my mom does not call complaining about him and how he bugs her. Lots of good comes from the high speed connection.
My Dad always had opinions but his friends usually agreed with him and that was that, but now he can share his opinions to the world.
My concern is that he keeps writing letters to the editors of the newspapers and that his letters are to say the least a little controversial. (Thank God for free speech or he may be in jail.) I guess his fingers are a little faster than his train of thought or maybe not. At any rate I was looking at the paper and yet again there was another letter to the editor. Yes my father again had struck. I called him and I said; “DAD what are you doing.” I tried to explain to him that he should be careful. His only response was; “well you know those Press Guys they always misquote people.”
Oh well at least he is busy and his mind is sharper than ever. I had noticed that his memory was slipping a bit before he got this high speed connection. The brain is a muscle and when it is not used it will fade and I am sure the Satellite Internet connection is really helping him exercise his mind.
Now if he would only learn to resolve his own software problems. I guess I could buy him an on line course to take.

Take Care and despite my comments I am pleased my DAD is on line and busy. It is just a funny story about him I wanted to share.

Satellite Internet and the Starfish
I recently heard a thought-provoking tale: millions of starfish washed up on the beach, putting their lives in grave danger. A young girl made her way along the sand, picking up one starfish at a time and tossing it back into the sea. An older gentleman watched this laborious activity for a while before finally saying to the girl, “You’ll never save them all. You can’t make a difference.”The girl slowed her pace for a moment and then held up the starfish she had in her hand. “I will to this one,” she said before casting it back into the waves. So what has this got to do with Satellite Internet.
Very often the big companies like the cable companies have no interest in providing the one and two off service. They just can’t make it viable so every day many home owners are denied choice because they do not know they have a choice. That is what we do. We want to make a difference to you. We want you to have what the rest of the US takes for granted, high speed Internet Solutions. We can make a difference. Learn more about your high speeed choice. Call us

My wife and I were at home planning a nice late summer vacation. We were looking at information on line and the ideas and pictures came pouring at us. I stood up and said to my wife, “how did we do all this before we had a high speed internet connections or for that matter any connection at all.” I also wondered when was the last time I got a travel brochure and I could not remember. The travel industry relies heavily on the web like most industries do and if you want to deal with them this is the best way.
Of course in the past we could not shop the best price and we paid a travel agent we thought we could trust to do that. We read the newspapers and it was not nearly as much fun plus we never really got what we wanted.
With the High speed Internet connection we got what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay and we even had on line chats with tour companies just to make sure. My best estimate is we probably saved $600.00 by doing it this way. Needless to say our Internet connection paid for itself yet again.
Now we have to map our trip using map quest and check out the area using the satellite links from Google Maps. Have you seen your house from Google Maps? It is pretty impressive.
The point is this, if you are still on dial up or at the Library reading this you could be on line and surfing and booking your trips and saving money in weeks if you had a high speed connection from Satellite Internet Direct.
Give us a call at 1-877 SAT-HELP, we can help. We have the best deal in the industry with a commitment to serve you.
Thanks for reading and have a great vacation I know we will.

Fair Access Policy Is about Fairness

It’s important to know that all high-speed Internet Service Providers utilize “Shared Bandwidth Technology.”
Simply put, that means everyone shares one “ultra” high-speed connection in order to get a high-speed connection at each of their homes. However, in the case of some providers, as few as 5% of the users can consume as much as 50% of an Internet Service Provider’s bandwidth, making the service run slower for everyone else!
HUGHESNET understands that your connection is important to you and you expect fair and equitable
access when you go online. We couldn’t agree with you more! In addition to other network safeguards our FAIR ACCESS POLICY has been established to protect you, and other consumers from that small percentage of users who try to take advantage of the shared connection by downloading abnormally large amounts of information in a short period of time. Our Fair Access Policy prevents this from happening, and makes sure that you get to your “share” of the connection.
The FAIR ACCESS POLICY helps HUGHESNET assure that its subscribers receive equal access to our High- Speed Internet Service. We want you to get the service you pay for!

Did you see the offer?
If you have not looked at the new satellite offer from Hughesnet; you should look on our website at www.satelliteinternetdirect.com It is a very affordable option for anyone that was to get up to speed on the Internet.
At Satellite Internet Direct we know it is hard to envision your life with high speed internet because you really do not know what that means. (you have never had it before) Your neighbor may have it and you thought it looked pretty good. Then you go home and go back to struggling with the old dial up and wondering why you have to suffer this way.
I was reminded the other day just how important high speed was to me and my family. Just because of one feature the “always on” feature. Here is the story. My father has been ill and our family is spread out across North America. We communicate through email and like most families share a lot of information through the internet. When I was on dial up I would check only in th evening and I suppose five years ago that was okay.
My fathers has been ill and my mother had been quite stressed about this and he recently took a turn for the worse. I am fortunate that my Sister is close at hand. She was able to quickly send a note out to me and my other family members and we were all able to call and support my Mother and Father almost instanteously. For me right now that piece of mind is invaluable because nothing is more important than family.
So the nice part is I can live were I want but still be connected to my loved ones. Just so you know my father is okay. But I am thankful for my high speed “always on” connection.
Thanks
